Dr Rosa Hou is an Anaesthetic and Pain Specialist. She graduated from medicine from the University of New South Wales in 2004. She spent several years as a junior doctor at St George Hospital before undergoing 5 years of post-graduate training to qualify as a Specialist Anaesthetist. She then took further training in pain medicine to become a Pain Medicine Specialist.
Dr Hou works in both public and private hospitals throughout Sydney as an anaesthetist and pain specialist. She has a wide scope of practice for anaesthesia, including orthopaedic surgery, ophthalmology, gastrointestinal surgery, obstetric and gynaecology, pain medicine and urology. Dr Hou is passionate about peri-operative pain management, and prevention and treatment of chronic post surgical pain.
