Dr Rod Ashton chose to become a member of the Clinical Advisory Committee (CAC) to assist with the clinical direction of Maven Dental Group. As a practitioner with 35 years dental experience he believes he has a lot to offer to the group from a clinical perspective.
Dr Rod has performed a large variety of clinical procedures and has used a lot of different types of equipment. He knows what works well and what doesn't, clinically.
DR Rod has been involved in Implant Dentistry for 25 years, both in placing and restoring dental implants. His other main interests include, Fixed Prosthodontics and Oral Surgery. He also enjoys most other aspects of general dentistry.
Away from the practice, Dr Rod has a lot of hobbies which include snowboarding and backcountry hiking, cycling and triathlons, mountain biking, swimming, surf ski paddling, spearfishing and diving, sailing, and music.
