Raya graduated from the post-graduate medical program at Sydney University in 2002, having completed a bachelor of applied science (physiotherapy) and previously working as a senior physiotherapist in SWSAHS. She has been working on the central coast since 2004.
Raya has experience in all aspects of general practice with a particular interest in women’s health and prenatal medicine, paediatrics, musculoskeletal medicine, minor surgical procedures and mental health.
She worked for ten years in RAAF gaining experience in: occupational medicine, musculoskeletal and sports medicine and preventative health, as well as travel medicine. She has recently worked in Aboriginal health and telemedicine until joining the team at Mingara Medical in July 2014.
Raya enjoys combining nutritional and lifestyle well-being with traditional medicine to help achieve the best health outcomes for patients.
