Dr Peter Hadjipetrou is a Director of the Queensland Cardiovascular Group and specialises in interventional cardiology. His clinical interests and expertise are in interventional cardiovascular and peripheral vascular procedures, including coronary angioplasty and stenting, peripheral vascular stenting, aortic aneurysm stenting, valvuloplasty, patent foramen ovale and atrial septal defect closure.

Dr Hadjipetrou is a graduate of the University of Queensland Medical School and following his postgraduate studies, underwent a two year clinical and research Fellowship in Coronary Intervention at the Leahy Clinic in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr Hadjipetrou has been awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Cardiology.

Dr Hadjipetrou is an invited speaker and panellist at cardiology conferences in Australia and internationally and holds particular teaching and research interests in interventional cardiovascular and peripheral vascular procedures.
