Dr Penny Wolski MBBS (Hons) graduated from The University of Queensland in 1999 with Honours and has setup private practice at the Greenslopes Specialist Centre as a general and reproductive endocrinologist. Previous specialty training posts have included the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and the Princess Alexandra Hospital. Penny is trained in all aspects of endocrine disease, including those abnormalities, which commonly contribute to infertility such as polycystic ovarian syndrome, pituitary dysfunction and thyroid disorders. In addition, she has experience in the care of medically complex pregnancies, having spent several years training under the supervision of the Obstetric Medicine Unit at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. In this setting, Penny was involved in the care of pregnant women with diabetes, thyroid disorders, hypertension, pre-eclampsia, heart disease and clotting disorders amongst many other general medical conditions which complicate pregnancy.
