Prof Paul Kerlin is a Gastroenterologist specialising in Gastroenterology and Hepatology and is founding member of the Wesley Hospital Gastroenterology and liver group. He has been working at the Wesley since 1989 and has a special interest in Gastro Intestinal (GI) motility disorders, Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP (Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography), general Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
Prof Kerlin trained in Gastroenterology and Hepatology in Adelaide, the University of California, Los Angeles, and the Mayo Clinic, Minnesota. He worked as the Director of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane, from 1982-1990 and then as a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Queensland.
Prof Kerlin is a member of the Australian Medical Association, the Gastroenterology Society of Queensland and Australia, the American Gastroenterology Association and the American College of Gastroenterology.
