Olga is a London educated doctor, having graduated King’s College with a combined MBBS and BSc degree. She commenced a career in General Practice following a breadth of experience across a multitude of specialties within both the UK and predominantly Australian hospital systems since graduating from medical school in 2015.
Whilst in the midst of her training towards Fellowship with RACGP, Olga is keen to find her niche with specialist interests in preventative medicine, paediatrics, minor surgery, cosmetic medicine, and a research background in genetics/genomics with collaborations at the Royal Society of Medicine, Garvan Institute and James Cook University. She is excited about the potential of next generation sequencing technology, precision medicine and pharmacogenomics when it comes to the future of patient centred care, and is eager to empower individuals and families to take a more active role in understanding their personal risk profiles.
Olga enjoys the relaxed pace of life in Cairns since moving from London, often found taking a stroll on the beach with her puppy, and frequently travelling back to the buzz of the big cities when it suits.
