Mr Yii graduated from the University of Adelaide. He completed training in 1996 in Melbourne with FRACS. He worked in Sarawak, Malaysia from 1996 to 2003 and started the only vascular unit that provided vascular surgical services to 2 million people.
Mr Yii addresses common clinical problems including aneurysms, peripheral limb ischaemia, diabetic foot complications and vascular access for renal patients requiring dialysis. He returned to Melbourne in March 2003 and commenced practice centred in the south-eastern regions. He is involved in teaching Medical students and trainee surgeons through Southern Health. Mr Yii is also involved in research projects with Monash Department of Surgery.
