Dr Matthew Baker joined the team at Kite Street Dental in early 2019. After graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Queensland in 2012, Matthew accepted a role with the Queensland Government. He practiced in Toowoomba and Townsville for 12 months before moving on to work in private practices in Toowoomba and Northern NSW. Matthew is a talented dentist who enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is passionate about endodontics and preventative dentistry. He believes trust is a big part of his job and loves becoming part of the community so that he can get to know his patients and their families. Dr Baker is a member of the ADA and is always looking for opportunities to further his knowledge and skills whether that be with his fellow dentists at Kite Street Dental or at conferences and courses across the country. Matthew is planning on starting his IAADENT Comprehensive Implant Course in 2019. When he is not at Kite Street Dental Orange, you will find Matthew training for his next duathlon. Matthew is a professional athlete who has been ranked as high as 14th in the world. He has represented his country twice at the Duathlon World Championships. Matthew is also a talented pianist and holds an Associate of Music Australia.
