I have been working in General Practice for over 15 years. My special interest has been in skin cancer management and surgery and I have expanded my training in this field over the last several years. I have been training with a Specialist Surgeon (in the field of Plastic Surgery) on a regular basis since November 2012 to extend and refine my surgical techniques. The surgical training has been primarily focused on skin cancer procedures including full thickness and split thickness skin grafting as well as a wide variety of both single stage and complex skin flaps. In addition to skin cancer suveillance and management, I also surgically manage troublesome benign skin lesions such as cysts, skin tags, moles and lipomas, as well as ingrown toenail removals. I have a wide network of excellent doctors I refer my patients to for specialised advice and management when required. These doctors include Plastic Surgeons, Surgical and Radiation Oncologists as well as Cosmetic Physicians and Surgeons.
