Ly is a Clinical Psychologist dedicated to providing clients with a supportive, safe, and structured environment in which to make sense of their difficulties and take charge of their lives. She is committed to tailoring evidence-based treatments to each individual, and enjoys working collaboratively to help clients develop skills and self-knowledge to bring about meaningful and lasting change.
Ly has training and experience in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based therapies, and imagery-based therapies. She has worked with a wide range of presentations across public, private, and university settings. These include anxiety (e.g. generalised anxiety, panic disorder, health anxiety, social phobia, obsessive-compulsive disorders), depression, bipolar disorder, and clinical perfectionism. She is also passionate about helping individuals adjust to difficult life circumstances and has a special interest in perinatal mental health.
Ly completed her clinical psychology training at The University of New South Wales. She also holds a PhD in clinical psychology focusing on the impact of unhelpful thinking styles, and has presented research at national and international conferences and in published papers.
