Dr Liam McElvanna was welcomed to the Maven Dental Cairns City dental practice as an experienced and enthusiastic Associate Dentist. Originally from Ireland, Dr McElvanna was awarded an Entrance Exhibition Scholarship by Trinity College Dublin and graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours).

Passionate about his role, Dr McElvanna offers extensive experience in a wide range of dental services including crown and bridge work, restoration of implants, teeth whitening and aesthetic dentistry. He also holds a keen interest in children's dentistry which saw him receive the O'Mullane Medal by the Irish Society of Dentistry for Children.

Dr McElvanna is committed to providing his patients with positive dental experiences. To help those who suffer from dental anxiety or those undergoing extensive treatments, he is trained in performing dental work under general anaesthetic.

Living locally, Dr McElvanna can be found spending his free time training for an upcoming triathlon or out on the golf course green on his occasional day off.
