Kate is Clinical Psychologist with a passion for working with clients to achieve positive outcomes. She is warm, caring, practical and approachable.
Kate uses a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches depending on clients’ needs and preferences, but primarily Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT). Kate has a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons), a Master of Psychology (Clinical) and a PhD from the University of Adelaide, is a registered provider with Medicare Australia and the Psychology Board of Australia and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society. Prior to joining Mind Your Body, Kate worked as a Psychologist in the public sector. She also currently works part-time in research as the Cancer Council SA Post-Doctoral Research Fellow (Cancer Support) in the School of Medicine at Flinders University.
