I am an Australian trained Orthopaedic Surgeon practising in Sydney, with UK and European based Fellowship training in Hip & Knee surgery including sports, arthroplasty and robotic surgery.
I was educated at Cambridge University as an undergraduate, Imperial College for clinical medicine and Sydney University where I was awarded my PhD. Following my surgical primary through the Royal College of Surgeons of England, I completed my postgraduate orthopaedic training in Sydney on the Northside SET training scheme of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.
I supplemented my sub-specialist training in Hip & Knee surgery on an overseas fellowship based at UCLH in London, UK with Professor Fares Haddad. I also spent time at other world renowned UK and European institutions including Exeter, Oxford & Stanmore as well as spending time with Andy Williams, Kristoff Corten, Tom Quick and Professor Iain McNamara.
My research interests are focused on patient outcomes following Hip & Knee surgery starting with their prehabilitation, continuing though a personalised approach to their surgery and then a tailored rehabilitation program.
