John is the owner and pricipal of Dental Flossophy. He was born in Papua New Guinea and moved to Adelaide with his family when he started schooling. He completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Adelaide in 1994.
Since graduation, John joined the Australian Defence Force and worked in an Army field unit as a Captain Dental Officer. During this time, he explored work in the private sector.
After some time in the Army, he moved to the UK where he lived for almost ten years. During this time, he worked in the NHS dental service as well as a private practice in central London. He also completed a Masters in Science – Dental Radiography and Radiology in 2002 at King’s College, University of London.
After many years working in many different practices, John has wanted to set up a family oriented, fun and friendly practice where the focus is on patient care. He is passionate about exploring the latest in methods and equipment and hopes to maintain a practice that is as up to date as possible.
John has two kids and he enjoys playing sport with them, including netball, tennis and AFL football. He loves travelling especially to the snow for snowboarding. He is extremely happy his kids love doing this, too!
