Johann completed his Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Queensland. His research investigated the efficacy of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for communication problems in children with Asperger’s Syndrome. His research supervisors included Professor Tony Attwood and Associate Professor Kate Sofronoff. Johann has worked as a psychologist in both public and private settings for over 10 years, including Queensland Health, Minds & Hearts (Asperger's Syndrome and Autism Clinic), and as a professional trainer, both nationally and internationally, for Triple P International and Triple P United Kingdom. Johann has worked as a clinical psychologist on the Sunshine Coast for 6 years. Prior to E&A, he developed expertise in the treatment of individuals of all ages with a range of psychological disorders at Headspace Maroochydore and Family Challenge Psychology Clinic.
