Dr Iris Wang (Obstetrics and gynaecology)

Dr Wang is a highly respected specialist obstetrician, gynaecologist and fertility specialist with a special interest in reproductive endocrinology such as polycystic ovarian syndrome, as well as anovulation, amenorrhoea, female infertility, recurrent pregnancy loss and menstrual disorders.

After obtaining her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 1984 from the University of Sydney, she underwent obstetrics and gynaecology speciality training at King George V Hospital, and then subspecialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI) at the University of British Columbia in Canada.

She was awarded a Doctorate of Medicine in 1994 for her research into abnormal menstrual bleeding, and received her Certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI) in 1995.

Dr Wang has also published many papers on menstrual disorders, laparoscopic surgery, gynaecological endocrinology and general gynaecology. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG).
