Doctor Chung graduated from University of Hong Kong and received his training in general medicine and gastroenterology in Queen Mary Hospital, University of Hong Kong.
Dr Tim Chung completed his specialist training in Hepatology in the Department of Medicine, University of Hong Kong.
Dr Chung has an in depth knowledge of the research into hepatitis B using clinical and molecular biology techniques. Dr Tim Chung is proficient in procedural gastroenterology including GI panendoscopy, colonoscopy and ERCP. He is an accomplished clinician and a keen researcher. He has extensive publications in leading international medical journals.
Dr Chung moved to Sydney in 1994 and worked in the Liver Transplant Unit, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. He has been a gastroenterologist in private practice since 1995 with rooms in Chatswood, Haymarket, Hurstville and Cabramatta.
