Dr Ernest Tan graduated in medicine from the University of Western Australia in 1990.
He trained in dermatology in Perth and has been a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists since 1998.
He is currently a consultant dermatologist at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth and is a senior clinical lecturer at the University of Western of Australia. He is a past Head of Department at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and is in private practice in Burswood in Perth.
