Dr Ernest Tan graduated in medicine from the University of Western Australia in 1990.
He trained in dermatology in Perth and has been a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists since 1998.
He is currently a consultant dermatologist at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth and is a senior clinical lecturer at the University of Western of Australia. He is a past Head of Department at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and is in private practice in Burswood in Perth.
Dr Tan has been actively involved in several recent clinical trials in the treatment of psoriasis and solar keratoses. He has published articles in several peer reviewed journals.
