Eng-Kong has been in practice for more than thirty five years in the upper North Shore. Because of his wide training and expertise in different types of psychological therapies, he is capable of assessing patients and guiding them to the modality of therapy most appropriate for them. He majors in the analytically-oriented individual long-term psychotherapies. In his general psychiatric work, he offers marital therapy and conducts three types of groups- Mindfulness Based Relaxation and Meditative Group, a Social Skills and Assertiveness Training Group and Analytic Psychotherapy Group.

Eng Kong was a Councillor in the RANZCP and a former Chairman of Training in the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Association of Australia. He teaches at the NSWIPP, AAGP and AABCAP. He is Adjunct Professor at NTI in Wollongong. He offers individual and group supervision in dynamic/analytic psychotherapy for helping professionals. He has presented seminars, workshops and keynote addresses on Psychotherapy, Mindfulness, Spirituality and Meditation at local and overseas conferences.
