Dr Emma Cooper (Psychologist)

Emma Cooper is a fully registered psychologist with a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours, a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, and a Diploma in Transformational Life Coaching. Emma has worked in private practice and as a careers counsellor at North Coast Institute TAFE. She also has experience in acute adult mental health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), and a range of multi-disciplinary practices.  Emma offers a highly confidential, safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their difficulties and move towards better psychological health and well-being. She has worked alongside natural health practitioners, and provides a clinical yet holistic perspective on mental health. With a background in teaching and drama tuition, Emma has over 20 years of experience working with children and teenagers, and expertise in behaviour management. Emma enjoys working with school-aged children, teenagers, young people, and adults. She draws upon a wide range of evidence-based therapies, such as, CBT, ACT, IPT, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
