Dr Daphne Tsoi is a local medical graduate who completed her medical oncology training in Western Australia.

She then undertook a two year Breast Cancer Clinical Research Fellowship at Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre (Toronto, Canada), and obtained a Master of Science degree in Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Toronto.

She continues her interest in breast cancer research and has a number of publications in peer-reviewed journals.

She is the director of the Murdoch Oncology Clinical Trials Unit, and is a principal investigator for a number of international trials.

Dr Tsoi is an adjunct associate professor with the School of Medicine at the University of Notre Dame Australia, and also holds an adjunct associate professor position with the School of Health and Medical Sciences at Edith Cowan University.

She has private practice at St John of God Murdoch Hospital and St John of God Subiaco Hospital.

Besides breast cancer, her other interests include brain tumours, colorectal and lung cancers.
