Dr Claire Hitchings is a Clinical Psychologist. She is experienced in the treatment of adults suffering from a range of Mental Health problems.
Areas of Interest Claire has a special interest in working with clients to overcome perfectionism, generalised anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, childhood trauma, low self-esteem, and assertiveness difficulties. Claire also works regularly with couples to help them overcome relationship difficulties.
Therapeutic Approaches Claire uses a range of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotionally Focussed Therapy (EFT), and Schema Therapy. She is currently training to be certified in EFT for Couples, through the Australian Centre for Emotionally Focussed Therapy.
