Dr Cecilia Wan is a specialist Child, Adolescent and Family Psychiatrist.
Dr Wan completed her medical degree at the University of Sydney and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. She has achieved additional specialist qualification as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist.
Dr Wan has extensive experience helping children, adolescents and families understand, manage and minimise the impact of mood and behavioural disorders. She has worked extensively in both community and in-patient settings throughout Northern Sydney, as well as, in Perinatal Units (Tresillian) and with the “Got It!” school-based early intervention program.
Dr Wan uses an evidence based approach, strategically integrating biological, psychological and social considerations, to achieve a comprehensive understanding of the specific needs of each child/adolescent and their family, and guiding individualised treatment. Dr Wan understands the importance of open communication and collaboration in optimising treatment outcomes.
Dr Wan is fluent in English and Cantonese.
