As a mum of three, I distinctly remember the challenges of pregnancy and the newborn period, and how frustrated I was by the conflicting advice I was given around feeding and parenting. This motivated me to specialise in perinatal care and focus on equipping families with clear, research-based advice to support them through this life-changing period. I understand every family’s journey is unique, and have a gentle, compassionate and flexible approach.

I graduated with first class honours in the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of NSW in 2009. I then worked in Paediatrics at the Sydney Children’s Hospital before obtaining my fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2014. Throughout my years as a GP, I have always had a particular passion for women's and children's health. I am an accredited practitioner of the Possums approach in Neuroprotective Developmental Care and hold a Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health (Family Planning NSW).

While I relate to the joy of parenthood, I can also relate to the grief of pregnancy and infant loss. My journey through this not uncommon experience has inspired my dedication to supporting families through mental health challenges, trauma and loss in the perinatal period.
