Dr Benjamin Barrera joined the Greenwood Dental team as an associate dentist. During his years' of study Dr Barrera completed a number of degrees including, Bachelor of Science majoring in neuroscience (University of Sydney), Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and Graduate Diploma of Dentistry (Griffith University). While studying he was also the President of the Dental Students' Association and spent time visiting local schools to promote dentistry and oral health.
Dr Barrera is enthusiastic about providing his patients the best dental experience possible, from a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere to the latest in dental techniques and technology. Although experienced in all facets of dentistry, he demonstrates particular interest in the areas of children's dentistry, endodontics, sleep dentistry, oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry, inhalation sedation and Invisalign.
Outside of work Dr Barrera hobbies include playing the piano, rowing, tennis and being social with his friends.
