Belinda has specialised in working with children, adolescents and their families since 1996. Belinda has worked at the Prince of Wales Hospital Adolescent Service, as well as The Children's Hospital at Westmead, and Westmead Hospital’s residential child and adolescent psychiatry unit. Belinda holds a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology and has also completed doctoral studies with the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Sydney. Belinda’s interests include educational and neuropsychological testing, emotional intelligence, emotion coaching for parents, psychosomatic disorders, ADHD, the prevention and treatment of eating disorders, trauma and grief, and diagnostic issues in autistic spectrum disorders. Her treatment approaches are informed by evidence-based practice, and include cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), mindfulness, parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), and family therapy.
