Dr Andrew Wilkinson is our See Hear Speak Director and Clinical Psychologist who specialises in working with children, young people and families. After completing a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and Bachelor of Psychology (Honours), Andrew has been the leader of a clinical team providing psychology services for children, young people and families. He has also consulted to the NSW government (Family and Community Services) on disability service delivery and child protection.
Andrew has a particular interest in working with children and young people from an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background. He has now been working locally in Newcastle for a number of years and prior to this, worked rurally in North West NSW providing psychological assessment, treatment and workshops with children, young people and adults.
He loves being a husband and father and taking care of a cheeky one year old. Starting life on a farm in North West NSW, it’s no surprise he enjoys getting outdoors and when he can, getting away from the hustle of city life with his family.
