Dr Davidson has a holistic and broad-minded approach, based around realistic expectations.
Dr Davidson works primarily in:
IVF and fertility care. Gynaecology. Dr Andrew Davidson obtained his medical degree at Sydney University and after graduation trained in Sydney, Chelmsford and Bristol in England, and finally Townsville and Brisbane in Queensland.
He previously worked as a specialist at Bathurst in country NSW for 10 years and was involved in establishing an IVF unit in nearby Orange.
Since moving to the Gold Coast 17 years ago, Dr Davidson has worked mainly at John Flynn Hospital but also at Tweed Heads District and Robina hospitals. He was instrumental in introducing water births as an accepted option for women at John Flynn Hospital.
In May 2010, he accepted the position of medical director for City Fertility Centre on the Gold Coast. Before that, Dr Davidson was the clinical director, since the clinic opened, at John Flynn Hospital in 2004.
