When we experience trauma, we often feel overwhelmed and have difficulty coping with how our   lives have been altered. In my work, I provide a safe, supportive enviroment to assist my clients to recover from traumatic/stressful events. I help my clients who include, children, adolescents and adults to heal (through artwork when appropriate) and implement positive changes in their lives. My clients may also experience various issues such as depression, anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), sexual abuse, domestic violence, personality disorders, anger management, school refusal, grief and loss, substance abuse, bullying, homelessness and intellectual disability.

I have been trained in various modalities, but primarily focus on CBT (trauma focused) and Art Therapy. This combined approach has proven successful when working with children and adolescents over the past 10+ years in various settings such as schools, medical practices, NFP organisations and private practice. My educational background includes a Graduate Diploma of Pscyhotherapy at the Cairnmillar  Institute at Latrobe University  and a Bachelor of Social Science (Family Studies) Honours, at Australian Catholic University.
