The UNE Psychology Clinic provides assessment and therapeutic services for the New England community. The clinic provides a training and research facility for the postgraduate Clinical Psychology Program students, all of whom have provisional registration with the Psychology Board of Australia. All provisional psychologists in the clinic are supervised by registered and experienced clinical psychologists, including Dr Warren Bartik, Ms Andrea del Pozo de Bolger and Associate Professor Gavin Clark.

Services offered The clinic is open Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm mid-February to mid-December, except for public holidays. The clinic provides assessment and treatment for a range of psychological problems for children, adolescents, adults and the elderly including:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments
  • Cognitive, intellectual and memory assessments
  • Neuropsychological assessments
  • Anger management
  • Anxiety and phobias
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Depression
  • Eating disorders
  • Grief and loss
  • Headache and pain
  • Learning, behavioural and emotional problems in children and adolescents
  • Marital/couples relationship problems
  • Sexual difficulties
  • Trauma/stress
