Thomas is a registered psychologist with training in the area of educational and developmental psychology. He has experience working in schools and clinics in Australia and abroad with children and adolescents to deliver assistance in the classroom for those with special needs, as well as psychological assessment, intervention, and group programs to develop social skills. He currently works with children, their families, and their school communities in his role as a school psychologist across a number of primary schools in Melbourne.
Thomas also works privately with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families to deliver individual and group-based interventions. Thomas has completed study in the Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology at Monash University, and has additional training in behavioural interventions for parents and suicide prevention. Thomas’ areas of interest include autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, positive behaviour intervention, social skills development and positive psychology.
