Sophie is a clinical psychologist who completed a combined Doctor of Clinical Psychology and PhD at the University of Sydney. She is a member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA) and the Australian Association for Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (AACBT). Sophie has experience working with adults, children, adolescents and families in a range of hospital and community settings. In these settings she has worked to provide assessment and treatment for anxiety, depression, trauma, and difficulties with emotion regulation. Sophie takes care to develop tailored, flexible treatment plans that best support the client’s needs. She draws on evidence based treatment models including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness based approaches. In her work with children, adolescents and families she employs a family therapy approach with a focus on attachment. In addition to her work in this practice, Sophie works in the NSW public health system. Location: Sophie sees clients at Westmead.
