Sonic HealthPlus Mackay is located in the city of Mackay on the eastern coast of Queensland, Australia. Located 970 kilometres north of Brisbane, Mackay is often referred to as the Mackay-Whitsunday region due to the proximity of the Whitsunday islands. Established in 1860 by pioneer John Mackay, the region experienced a large sugar cane boom until the late 2000’s, until which time the mining industry prevailed to become the mainstay of the local economy.

Sonic HealthPlus Mackay is located in the thriving industrial region of Terminus Business Park, accessible via the Bruce Highway, only seven kilometres south of the Mackay CBD. Our clinic provides an inclusive spectrum of healthcare services with general practice, occupational health and travel medicine all delivered from our purpose-built facility. Services including injury management, employment medicals, drug and alcohol testing and coal board medicals are delivered from our occupational health team, with family health, men’s and women’s health, and skin screening all provided by our general practice doctors.

Easily accessible and open Monday – Friday 7.30am – 4.30pm, we are a comprehensive clinic welcoming all new and existing patients to Sonic HealthPlus Mackay.
