I have taken the road less travelled in my medical career! Graduating from the University of Adelaide in 1993, I completed 2 years of practice in Adelaide before moving to Europe to continue my career.

I have worked for 4 years in the Russian Federation where I was employed by International SOS in their international clinic in Moscow. I then left Moscow to continue my career in London where I worked in Emergency Medicine for a year. The tug of home and a young family led to me returning to Australia where I worked in Emergency Medicine at Noarlunga Hospital before eventually moving to the Far North of South Australia in 2000 where I worked as a country GP in Woomera and Roxby Downs. I now split my time between Adelaide and Roxby Downs where I own and run a successful general practice.

I’m also actively involved in medical education as an educator for the University of Adelaide medical school and as an examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Family and Personal interests I have four beautiful children and enjoy bush walking and travel and I have hiked many of the world’s great walks over the years. I’m passionate about medical practice and my community and I volunteer at many community clubs.
