Sally-Anne Connell is a registered psychologist with a decade of experience within respected organisations. She understands the importance of empathy in building a good working alliance with her clients and is flexible and down-to earth in the way that she works. She has a Bachelor of Psychology and is a member of the APS. She specialises in dual diagnosis which is the condition of suffering from a mental illness and a comorbid substance abuse problem. Throughout her past workplaces, Sally-Anne has provided support, education and treatment to clients with a range of disorders including Substance-abuse, Depression, Anxiety, Panic, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Trauma, Gambling Problems and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Her passion also includes assisting people to increase their assertiveness and social skills and to find life direction and a greater purpose. Sally-Anne is competent in a number of evidence based therapies/approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Mindfulness and Motivational Interviewing.
