Our doctors are highly trained and experienced with diverse interests in sub-specialist medical fields. Riverina Cardiology has five local specialists working at the practice – Prof Gerard Carroll AM, A/Prof Peter Ruchin, A/Prof Michael McCready, A/Prof Joseph Suttie and Dr David Gallagher. Prof John French is a visiting specialist from Sydney who attends the practice on a part time basis.
We take a holistic approach to patient care and we pride ourselves on providing most services on the same day to alleviate the need for multiple visits. We appreciate many people travel long distances for an appointment so we aim to be as flexible as possible.
Our nursing and technical staff are fully accredited and have extensive cardiac experience. We encourage continual education and skill refinement.
Our doctors have a strong interest in medical education and provide clinical exposure to students from the University of New South Wales and the University of Notre Dame Australia. Riverina Cardiology also provides opportunities for work experience in the technical and administration sections.
