Hailing from Scotland, Tony is a general cardiologist with special interests in heart failure and non-invasive cardiovascular imaging.
Tony graduated from the University of Glasgow, where he also received his PhD. His cardiology training began in Scotland before he accepted a fellowship in Australia. Upon returning to the UK, the lure of warm climates and sunny beaches was too much and he came back to Queensland initially at UQ and then as Clinical Director of Cardiac Investigations Unit at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
