Prof Tillman Boesel is a graduate of the University of Adelaide, he was trained in anaesthesia at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. He has been in specialist practice at Nepean Private Hospital since 2004. His special interests are anaesthesia for minimally invasive advanced urological surgery, orthopaedic surgery and plastic surgery. Associate Professor Boesel also practices as an Interventional Pain Medicine Specialist at Nepean Hospital, and holds an academic appointment at the Australian School of Advanced Medicine at Macquarie University.
