Philip Boyce is Professor of Psychiatry at Westmead Hospital, Head of the Perinatal Psychiatry Clinical Research Unit at Westmead Hospital and Head of the NSW Statewide Outreach Perinatal Mental Health Service.He has had a long standing clinical and research interest in perinatal mental health and mood disorders. His current research focus is into the impact of psychotic disorders on women in pregnancy and postpartum and predictors of bipolar relapse following childbirth, with a focus on circadian rhythm disruption as a trigger for relapse.
