Professor Chris Liddle is an academic physician with sub-specialty interests in Hepatology and Clinical Pharmacology. He heads the Department of Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology at Westmead Hospital and is a principal investigator with an established research group within the Storr Liver Unit, Westmead Millennium Institute and University of Sydney.
Prof Liddle chairs several key committees in the area of human therapeutics. These include the NSW Therapeutic Advisory Group (NSW TAG) and the Drug Committee, Western Sydney Local Health District. Other interests include the use advanced information technology systems in research, in particular their use in the analysis of next-generation sequencing data. He was previously Associate Dean for IT for the Sydney Medical School.
