Penelope Lovegrove (Psychologist)

Penelope is a registered Psychologist and Clinical Psychology Registrar who holds full membership with the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Penelope takes a collaborative and authentic approach to her work offering both practical and introspective techniques tailored to the individual. She treats a wide range of concerns and has worked with mood disorders such as anxiety (health anxiety, social anxiety, generalised anxiety, and panic), depression, grief and loss, stress and burnout, emotional regulation, phobias, trauma, anger management, and personality disorders. She has a particular interest in working with men’s mental health and supporting women through peri-menopause and menopause, as well as post-cardiac depression and the management of mood after stroke.

Penelope is also a qualified social worker and prior to obtaining her Masters in Clinical Psychology she provided counselling and support for many years to people experiencing challenges in their relationship, parenting, work and study.
