Our centre in Karratha runs threapy programs for children. Each program is specific to each child’s needs and runs for 2 hours at a time. In these structured sessions the Therapy Assistant will deliver a program in which the Psychologist, Speech Pathologist, and/or Occupational Therapist has written for each child. These programs will change on review once a term to reflect progress and new goals.

We utilise a range of differetn therapy types, depending on the child's needs, including therapy based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) as this is the best practice therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Therpay of this intensity is a great way to assist children with Autism with basic skills such as listening to insturctions, imitation, and joint attention, as well as more complex skills such as reading, conversing, and understanding emotions. Our services in Onlsow and Port Hedland are the same as offered in Karratha, however we are currently only offering either home- or school-based visits in these locations.
