The Newcastle Eye Centre is headed up by Dr Eugene Hollenbach, a leader within Newcastle and the Hunter Valley in the field of Ophthalmology. Dr Hollenbach give lectures on numerous topics within both the fields of Vitreo-retinal Surgery, Cataract Surgery, Diabetic Eye Disease, Age Related Macular Degeneration, Eyelid & Cosmetic Surgery; and also runs frequent seminars with the public and other health professionals in these fields. Dr Hollenbach leads a team of highly skilled eye surgeons and Ophthalmologists who also provide a range of sub-specialty services including Surgical Retina Procedures, Oculoplastics, Laser assisted Cataract and Glaucoma Surgery, Age-related Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, Glaucoma and Presbyopia Treatment.
