The Skin Pharmacy at South West Sydney Dermatology, founded by Tina Aspres is the first compounding pharmacy to specialise entirely in dermatological preparations. Tina has a passion for compounding and formulating and is a Registered Pharmacist as well as a qualified and experienced formulating Chemist with over 20 years experience in the pharmaceutical, personal care and cosmetic industry. Tina Aspres is a Casual Academic in the Greater School of Health at the University of Technology Sydney and is also a published author – having co-written the book “All About Kids’ Skin’ published by ABC Books and The Eczema Management Guide for Pharmacists. Tina has also worked as an advisor to Choice Magazine, various pharmaceutical companies and is on the Eczema Association Advisory Panel. Tina is also on the Editorial Board of the Cosmetic Science Journal and contributes to articles in the Journal on a regular basis. Tina also has an interest in Research and Development. She has served as Clinical Trial Co-ordinator and participated in numerous dermatological clinical trials on eczema, psoriasis and rosacea and is also a researcher in the area of hyperpigmentation and transdermal drug delivery systems.
