Equipped with endless energy and an empathetic nature, Ruth’s passion lies in achieving optimal health outcomes for her patients. She believes wellness comes from leading a balanced existence, which is why her healthy vegetarian meals are often washed down with a nice glass of red!
Ruth graduated from Sydney University in 2001 and has more than 14 years experience working in private practice. While the early years of her career were spent working in sports medicine, Ruth very quickly realised her passion in caring for women, particularly pre and postnatal musculoskeletal conditions and pelvic floor complaints. Ruth takes a holistic approach to assessing and treating her patients, incorporating education, manual therapy, dry needling and exercise prescription. Her unique ability to treat the internal and external pelvic structures has led to outstanding results and a loyal client base. Ruth is a qualified Pilates teacher and is currently undertaking her yoga teacher training.
A long history of treating high-level athletes has allowed Ruth to combine her love of travel and love of sport to tour around the country and the world with State and National sporting teams. Outside of work she can be found inverted on her yoga mat with two young children and a staffy clambering over her.
