Rosemary Williams BA, BSW, BTheol, DipEdPsych, MEd, MAPS, MCCOUNP was educated at the University of Melbourne and Monash University. She is a counselling psychologist registered with the Psychology Board of Australia, and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and of its College of Counselling Psychologists.

Rosemary has worked in universities, with the homeless and in gambling research. In 1999 she was awarded the Elaine Dignan Award by the Australian Psychological Society for her work with homeless women. Rosemary has been published widely, including a book on human suffering by HarperCollins, along with articles in a range of academic journals.

Rosemary’s approach is psychodynamic or insight-oriented, facilitating a client’s self-awareness and understanding of the influence of the past on present feelings and behaviour. Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is used where appropriate.
