As founder and director of Phytness HealthCare, Nicole is passionate about quality health care for the local community and the importance of thoroughly understanding each individual's needs and treatment options.

Nicole has over 17 years of clinical experience, since graduating from The University of Sydney with honours in physiotherapy. She has since pursued further study in sports physiotherapy and specific management of shoulder complaints and spinal and pelvic dysfunctions. Nicole is a level 4 trained Clinical Pilates therapist, the highest level endorsed by the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA). In 2004, Nicole completed a postgraduate course in Realtime Ultrasound Biofeedback (University of Sydney), and has gained many years experience incorporating this therapy into treatment programs for clients with complex back and pelvic pain problems.

Nicole has a specialised clinical interest in Dance and has worked with many dancers of all levels including the WA Ballet Company and individuals who have progressed to the NZ School of Dance, West Australian Performing Arts Association and London Ballet Summer Schools. Nicole has also worked with elite athletes such as the Sydney Swans, Wollongong Wolves and Parramatta and St Patricks Rugby Union clubs.

In 2009, Nicole was awarded a research grant from the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) and became a visiting scholar of the University of Queensland and an Associate of the NHMRC Centre for Clinical Research Excellence – Spine. She is currently pursuing research to help understand the effects of peripheral nerve injuries on the central nervous system.
