Nasalifya is a Registered Psychologist with endorsement in Clinical Psychology with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She completed her Masters in Applied psychology (MAppPsy) and Post-Graduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology at University of Waikato (NZ). Nasalifya has a degree in Psychology and Criminology (BA) from University of Auckland (NZ). Her training was specialised in clinical and community psychology with a focus on cognitive behavioural therapy approach (CBT). Therapeutic Approach Nasalifya has worked as a Psychologist with a wide range of client populations from a range of cultural backgrounds and has develop ways in which to be responsive to diversity. Nasalifya has worked with diverse diagnosis including depression, anxiety, personality disorders, adjustment disorders, sexual dysfunction and clients with pre-and post-natal challenges. This work involved closely working with individuals, couples, and families, which requires an ability to support not only the client but also those around them. Nasalifya has skills and knowledge in the assessment, understanding and development of psychological interventions for those experiencing diverse difficulties. In order to provide clients with responsive intervention, Nasalifya works from an empathic, respectful, and non-judgemental approach that incorporates a holistic view of well-being. She utilises a range of approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Meta-cognitive therapy (MCT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), as well as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
