Meg Dougherty. Meg completed her Masters of Physiotherapy at Griffith University on the Gold Coast. She has also completed a Bachelor of Human Movement Science at Southern Cross University. She is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, member of ESSA and a qualified clinical pilates instructor. Meg has a keen interest in utilizing appropriate exercise prescriptions to aid in the management of a variety of chronic diseases and the rehabilitation of sporting injuries, which has been furthered by her love of distance running and experience as a sports trainer. Meg is a keen advocate for helping women stay fit and active throughout all stages of life, and has a passion for working with women’s health issues such as pregnancy care, postnatal rehabilitation, pelvic floor dysfunction and incontinence. Meg currently runs the Preglates and Mum's and Bubs classes offered at our Yamba clinic. Meg also offers continence assessments for men and has a particular interest in helping men recover from, and prepare for, prostate surgery.
